Find a market and understand the odds

At s7 odds are shown in three formats — Decimal, Fractional and American. Bangladeshi players generally find the Decimal format most convenient. The table below shows the same price in all three formats:

Example: Team A's price is Decimal 3.00 — if you win with a ৳500 stake you get back a total of ৳1,500 (৳1,000 profit + ৳500 stake). If you lose, ৳500 is gone. These are illustrations only, not a guarantee of winning.
Bet slip — single and multi bets
Clicking on a market automatically adds it to the bet slip. The bet slip shows the selection, odds and stake; the potential return is also calculated automatically.
Single Bet
One selection only — simple and straightforward. Example: in a limited-overs cricket match, Team A's price is Decimal 1.65, Team B's price is 2.30. If you place a ৳500 bet on Team B and Team B wins, you get back ৳1,150 (profit ৳650); if Team A wins, ৳500 is gone. There is no draw market in this format.
Multi Bet
Adding multiple selections to one bet makes it a multi bet. The odds of all selections are multiplied together. Example: three selections with odds of 1.40, 1.60 and 1.80 — combined odds 1.40 × 1.60 × 1.80 = 4.03 (approximate). With a ৳100 stake, if all three win you get back ৳403. If even one loses, the full ৳100 is gone.
Favourite example: Team B's price is Decimal 1.25 (Fractional 1/4, American -400). With a ৳500 stake, if you win you get back ৳625 (profit of only ৳125). Low odds mean lower risk, but also lower profit — work out the numbers before placing a bet. These are illustrations only.

Open Bets
Bets whose result has not yet come in — the event is ongoing or has not started. Stake, odds and potential return are shown.

Bets with a result — won, lost or void. Winnings from a won bet are added directly to your balance.
For multi bets, the individual status of each selection is also shown — which ones won and which ones lost. Checking your bet history regularly helps you understand what kind of results you are getting in different markets — treating betting as entertainment is the healthy approach.
Set your budget and limits before you start betting
Betting is entertainment — not a source of income. Setting some limits for yourself before placing bets makes it easier to enjoy the experience. s7 follows a responsible gaming policy that allows you to set limits.

Betting exchange — back and lay
In the s7 betting exchange market there are two sides — back and lay. Back means betting in favour of an outcome; lay means betting against that outcome.
BACK — betting that Team A will win
You BACK Team A at Decimal odds of 2.00 with ৳1,000. If Team A wins, ৳1,000 profit (before commission); if they do not win, ৳1,000 is gone.
LAY — betting that Team A will lose
If you LAY against a ৳1,000 BACK bet, your liability is ৳1,000. If Team A does not win, you receive ৳1,000 (before commission); if Team A wins, you must pay ৳1,000.
